New York-based prop and still life stylist Linda Heiss has worked in the fashion and commercial photography fields for twenty years.


She grew up in northeastern Connecticut and attended Oberlin and Barnard Colleges before undertaking graduate studies in philosophy at Columbia University.


Characterized by strong shapes and clear colors, her work draws on early and ongoing interests in weaving, sculpture, and design, and four years' experience as designer's assistant at the house of architectural fashion designer Yeohlee Teng.


Her advertising clients include: Barneys New York, Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale's, Calvin Klein, Chilewich, Christian Dior, Converse, Cover Girl, David Yurman, Juicy Couture, Kate Spade Saturday, Kenneth Cole, The Museum of Modern Art, Neutrogena, Revlon, Sephora, and Stuart Weitzman.


Editorial clients include: 125 Magazine, Bon Appetit, Departures, Details, Real Simple, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, Time Style and Design, V Magazine, Vogue Russia, W Jewelry, and Wallpaper.
