Maxim Jezek is a Los Angeles and New York based set designer. Born in LA, he is the son of two Czech immigrants: an architect and a ceramicist. To pursue an education in fine art, he moved to New York City and studied sculpture at NYU where he began work as an fine art fabricator. With an awareness of aesthetics, materials, space, and architecture, he made the transition into set design and prop styling. He now works between Los Angeles, New York, and abroad.
