Raised in the coastal town of San Clemente, California , Sam Kweskin grew up at the beach and in the water – with the horizon line of the Pacific Ocean as his focal point. Those early impressions of scale, texture, and movement inform his work today.

From his experience as a competitive athlete in high-school and college Sam brings a unique perspective to capturing the human form, calling out the natural movements and instinctual inclinations of the body. The resulting arcs, shapes and forms are echoed his landscape and aerial photography as well.

Recent clients include Nike, Google, Equinox, Athleta, EndPaper Magazine, L’Optimum and The Lost Explorer –– for commissions in New York, France, Spain, Iceland, Chile and the Netherlands.

When not traveling and shooting, Sam makes his home in Los Angeles, and still gets in the ocean as much as possible.
