Having studied graphic design at Penninghen School in Paris, he followed that with 10 years of Art Directorship in Paris, where he is based.
Curiously compelled to switch things up and build his own photographs, LEGRAND's aim and 'raison d'être' is to push the picture process further. His forte is intensely sophisticated still like; think powerful close ups, angular trajectories, uncompromisingly sharp focal points and rich shadowy depths.
Thomas collaborates with clients such as Dior, Dolce&Gabbana, Louis Vuitton (accessories and jewels), Chanel Fragrances, Yves Saint-Laurent Beauty, La Mer, Bulgari (fragrances and timepieces), Burberry, Cartier, Ferragamo, Gucci, Hugo Boss, Lancôme, Chaumet, Hennessy, Johnnie Walker, Martell, L'Oréal Professionnel, Nina Ricci and Lanvin.
He also publishes in V Magazine, British GQ, Numéro and Harpers Bazaar Germany.
As a film director, Thomas collaborates with Tiffany, Louis Vuitton, Clé de Peau, Chanel and Bulgari.
