Marina Esmeraldo

Marina Esmeraldo is a Latinx self-taught artist and illustrator from Brazil based in Barcelona.

Creating colorful images for music, fashion, publications & brands, her witty and vibrant illustration style attracts a wide range of clients for global commissions, while her fine art projects are earthy explorations of memory, place and geometry.

Informed by her tropical upbringing in northeast Brazil, previous training as an architect and her love for Modern Art, Marina’s style is bursting with experimental shape, pattern and composition. She celebrates neuro-diversity as someone with ADD who loves seeing the world through her unique, squiggly brain.

Her diverse talents and skills, alongside her exceeding curiosity, fuel an unconventional, multi-faceted creative career that is both playful and luxe, rebellious and transformative.
